Built to be used by everyone.
We want every prospective resident to be able to browse floor plans, tour the amenities and reach us, whatever technology they use to get here.
Our commitment
The Aster is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including visitors who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of building the site rather than a step at the end.
How we build
We design toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. In practice that means meaningful alternative text on images, headings that describe how a page is structured, colour contrast we check rather than assume, controls that can be reached and operated by keyboard alone, and honouring your system setting when you prefer reduced motion.
Known limitations
Parts of this site come from third parties and are not fully within our control. The 3D virtual tours are hosted by Seenic. The interactive property map and the floor plan viewer rely on visual interaction that may not work well with a screen reader. Where that is the case we aim to make the same information available another way: every floor plan is also listed with its name, layout, bedroom count and square footage as text.
